CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—Funeral arrangements are set for Rochelle “Ginger” Miller, age 79, of Cedar Falls, Iowa and formerly of Boone, Iowa. She passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Boone. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Born on August 1, 2942 in Boone, Iowa. Ginger was the daughter of Ole and Rose (Harrington) Roby. She graduated from Boone High School.

Ginger had a special interest in computers, and graduated from DMACC with an associate’s degree in computer programming. She worked in Des Moines as a programmer until her retirement. In her free time, Ginger enjoyed crafts and needle point.

Ginger is survived by her children:  Kim (Ernest) Holmes of Hudson, Pete (Tammy) Miller of Boone, Angela Miller of Boone and Kristine Miller of Boone; grandchildren:  Sheila McCallum, Tiasa Holmes, Sara Miller (Brylee Anderson), Kye Miller, Steven Miller and Leslie (Jan) Klazar; great-grandchildren:  Kira, Ellie, Donovan and Abby; and a sister, Marie Miller of Boone.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Charles Roby; and a brother-in-law, Ed Miller.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall in Boone and online condolences may be left at www.schroedermemorialchapel.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family of Ginger Miller.
