DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service office in Des Moines is providing updated information about the potential for possible severe weather that could occur Saturday evening. A very active weather pattern will offer potentially strong to severe thunderstorm activity, followed by very windy conditions and then cooler air moving in Sunday. A wintery mix of precipitation is expected to wrap up the weekend.
