BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing the end of the month on a proposed zoning ordinance amendment that would set standards for Storm Water Management. The proposed standards would regulate the amount of storm water discharged from a property after development of an area larger than one-acre, either residential or commercial.
The formal public notices will be published and copies of proposed regulations are available at the Planning and Development Department, Boone County Courthouse or by email request. The Boone County Board of Supervisors have requested the amendment which would only affect the unincorporated portions of Boone County.
The Zoning Commission will meet on Monday, November 28th at 5:30 p.m. in the 4th floor conference room at the Boone County Courthouse. A Zoom link for the meeting will be available at the following website:
