BOONE, Iowa—The Iowa State Patrol has reported that a 34 year old Ogden man died when his pickup ran into the back of turning vehicle on Highway 30 east of Boone. According to the crash report, the accident happened about 5:20 p.m. on Monday, when a west bound truck, operated by 63 year old Edward Adams of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, was slowing to make a left turn onto a private field drive. A pickup, driven by 34 year old Brian Allen Lage of Ogden ran into the rear of the turning vehicle. The driver of the truck was not injured.
The accident remains under investigation according to the report. The State Patrol was assisted by an Iowa DOT Motor Vehicle Officer, Boone County Sheriff’s Department, Boone Fire Department and Boone County Ambulance.
