BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Police Department has filled one of it’s vacancies with the hiring of Rylie S. Bryant as the newest member of the department. Bryant, from Ogden, was sworn in by Boone Mayor John Slight during the Monday night City Council meeting. Chief John Wiebold said Bryant would begin training with the department right away and would be attending the academy in May.
