Weather Service Flood Forecast

DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service has released the third in the three-part series of flood forecasts. There is a much above normal spring flood threat on the Mississippi River and a near to below normal threat for the rest of the state except on the Missouri River below Council Bluffs where the risk is above normal. There are several other variables presented in the Flood Forecast released Thursday morning.
