Linda Galvan

KWBG 03/21/23

BOONE, Iowa—Linda Joy Galvan, 70, of Boone, IA, passed away on March 14, 2023.

She was born on May 1, 1952 to Wendell and Lila (Woodruff) Scott. She attended and graduated from Boone High School.

She worked as the office manager for The Salvation Army in Boone until 1999 when her health started to decline.

Her hobbies included: crocheting, drawing, singing, game nights, and baking her yummy cookies. She loved being surrounded by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother. She is survived by her children Joseph (Carrie) Galvan, Linda (Tootsie) Galvan, and Debra (Mike) Carroll. Her grandchildren Stephen (Steveo), Jordan, Brandon, Aidan, Tristin, Connor, Devon, Charissa, and Brianna and nine great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, brother, and many nieces and nephews.

She requested that no service be held and her body cremated. We will have a celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to her children.
