AMES, Iowa—The Iowa Department of Transportation is looking at removing the median at the intersection of U.S. 30 and 230th Street in Boone County and would like to know what you think about that proposal. The project is currently scheduled for the 2023 construction season.
The project shouldn’t impact traffic on U.S. 30 during construction. Traffic on 230th Street will be detoured using U.S. 30 and Iowa 17.
