BOONE, Iowa—The Boone Public Works Department will began flushing waterlines Monday, April 17th and will continue Monday through Friday until fall, weather permitting. Personnel will begin flushing at water towers and then work their way out like the spokes on a wheel. If customers experience discolored water, you’re asked to please flush water through your cold water faucets.
