Ed Berg

ORIENT, Iowa—Funeral arrangements have been set for Ed Berg, 69, of Orient, Iowa and formerly of Ogden, Iowa. He passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 424 Scott Street, Fontanelle, Iowa. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church. Pastor Steven Broers will officiate the service. A Public Graveside Service will be held Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Glenwood Cemetery in Ogden, Iowa.

Family visitation will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, with the family greeting friends at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 424 Scott Street, Fontanelle, Iowa, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial may be directed to the Ed Berg Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Berg of Orient; his children, Dan Berg and wife Mandy of Greenfield, Audra Ford and husband Craig of Fontanelle, John Berg and wife Brooke of Creston and Fallon Moore of Bedford; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Keith Berg and wife Susan of Boone, other relatives and friends.

The Lamb Funeral Home, 101 SE 4th Street, Greenfield, Iowa is in charge of the professional arrangements.
