DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service office in Des Moines has released information about the potential for severe weather impacting central Iowa tonight and overnight. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible, capable of producing tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds. It looks like there will be a couple of events, one Friday evening and overnight and the second on Saturday afternoon and evening. Stay Weather Aware.
