BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Hospital will begin the distribution of non-perishable food items to Kindergarten through 12th Grade Boone County Students this week. The Food For Kids program will meet the Boone County Hospital’s plan to make sure children have healthy food this summer. They will be providing non-perishable, kid-friendly food each week though August 3rd.

Through the summer, the Boone County Hospital will continue to accept items for distribution. Those wishing to support the effort are encouraged work with participating grocery stores or drop off donations in the front lobby of the Boone County Hospital.
