MADRID, Iowa—The Ledges State Park continues to be a busy place and not just for campers and visitors to the park. Naturalist Programs are available with seasonal Naturalist Luke Mullens who also took the show on the road to Ogden Fun Days last weekend. Friends of the Ledges continue to plan for activities and programs for the parks centennial celebration in 2024.
Some of the work recently has included a new sidewalk around the Oak Woods picnic area and restroom building.
Another project was the installation of new trail railings near the Crow’s Nest in the canyon.
