“We are extremely proud of all nine of our students for their dedication to academic excellence,
which has led them to earn these impressive awards,” said Julie Trepa, BCSD Superintendent.
“This recognition not only reaffirms their potential for the future, but also enhances their distinction
in college applications. This is a point of pride for our entire school district community.”
The College Board National Recognition Programs celebrate students’ diligence in high school and
showcase their strong academic performances. The academic honors for rural area, black,
indigenous, and/or Latino students offer a platform for students to share their strong academic
achievements with colleges and scholarship programs seeking to recruit diverse talent.
