BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Board of Supervisors have scheduled a Public Hearing on the proposed 2023 Comprehensive Plan. The new plan has been in the works for far longer than originally expected, and it’s finally made it to the point where the Supervisors will consider adoption. The hearing will be held in the Board Room at the Boone County Courthouse, Monday, August 28th at 6:30 p.m. A comprehensive plan is used for land use purposes and is used for planning and development purposes.
