Boone County Auditor Releases Official Notice for City-School Election

BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Auditor and Commissioner of Elections, Diane Patrick’s office has released the official notice for the upcoming city-school elections. The announcement also includes the public test of voting equipment used locally at the Boone County Courthouse 4th floor conference room on Tuesday morning, October 24th at 9:00. All polling locations are identified and ballot information is included. Information from 14 school districts is included and two committee college ballots.

There will be one Public Measure for the City of Luther redirecting the use of the city’s 1% local option sales tax.

School districts have several Public Measures from the Physical Plant Equipment Levy for the Greene County Community School District to bond issues of $17-million for the North Polk School District, $35-million for the Gilbert School District to $23-million for the Woodward-Granger School District.
