BOONE, Iowa—It took a lot of patience for Trick or Treaters to make a complete round of the Boone County Chamber of Commerce’s Downtown Trick or Treat event Thursday afternoon and evening. Hundreds in costume joined the parade, some occasionally moving from one block to another rather than standing in line. Businesses and groups providing Trunk and Treats, Halloween Photos and more had non-stop attendance. The event by the Boone County Chamber and the Downtown Boone Committee served as a kick-off for the annual Shop With A Cop coming in December.
