Wind Advisory in Effect Tuesday Morning

DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Wind Advisory from 1:00 a.m. Tuesday to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 10 AM CDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Northern and Central Iowa.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 10 AM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow showers are also expected Tuesday and
  may result reduced visibility at times during the period of
  stronger winds tomorrow. Please be aware of the potential of
  some impacts to travel.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
