BOONE, Iowa—Jeff Oppedahl, 53, of Boone, Iowa, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 3, 2023. He was born on January 26, 1970, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Roger and Chris (Sinclair) Oppedahl. He was a graduate of Ogden High School. On October 12, 1996, Jeff married Angie John at the Arboretum in Madrid.

Jeff worked for various local construction companies before starting a framing business with his brother and a friend. After the arrival of his triplets, he was a stay-at-home father for two years. He then worked for the Iowa DOT on the soil party crew. A life-changing work accident forced him into retirement, where he lived in his paradise. At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Oppedahl.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Angie Oppedahl; children, Wyatt, Madesen, and Sinclair; mother, Chris Oppedahl; brother, Greg (Jenny) Oppedahl; niece and great-nephew Joplin Bittle and Bentley Kochel; nephew, Dalton Oppedahl; father-in-law and mother-in-law Jr. and Kathy John.

A visitation with the family present to greet friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Schroeder-Stark-Welin Funeral Home in Boone.
