BOONE, Iowa—Iowa has been on the rise in human trafficking! Our stats come from Iowa state detectives, directors of safe houses, as well as our legislators. Team Iowa has made educating the masses a priority initiative to combat human trafficking by raising awareness and breaking the naïve mold we tend to have as Iowans. With the help of the film documentary called Gridshock, it has opened
the eyes and willingness of citizens in our communities to step up in helping to
make a difference.
Be sure to attend this important program at the James H. Andrew Railroad Museum at the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad Thursday, January 18th at 7:00 p.m. and learn how you can make that difference. Questions call 800-626-0319.
