DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service office in Des Moines has issued a Wind Advisory for a large portion of the state beginning early Wednesday and continuing until Wednesday evening. Northwest winds are expected be sustained 25 m.p.h. to 35 m.p.h. and will be gusting to 50 m.p.h.
