DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service office in Des Moines is anticipating the possible development of strong to severe storm activity Sunday afternoon and evening. Strong to severe storms with primary threat of large hail and secondary threats of damaging wind gusts and a tornado or two are possible. Some of the storm activity could occur in Central Iowa with highest risk over Southern Iowa.
