DES MOINES, Iowa—The Iowa Environmental Council’s Weekly Water Watch lists a total of 16 beaches with an advisory this weekend. 15 have an E. coli Advisory and one with a Microcystin Advisory. The data is collected by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources for state beaches. Note: Lake Keomah has been completely drained for lake renovations activities and the beach is closed for the remainder of the season. Oak Grove Beach at Saylorville Lake remains closed due to flooding.
