Ogden hosted its final home football game of the season but lost to West Central Valley, 28-16, on Friday, Oct. 11, in a Class 1A District 7 game.
Both teams scored in the second quarter and the game was tied, 8-8, at halftime.
West Central Valley pulled away and scored 2 touchdowns in the third quarter, and the score was 21-8 at the end of the third quarter.
Both teams scored touchdowns in the fourth quarter, but the damage was done as the game ended with the Wildcats winning, 28-16.
CeJay Jones went 13 for 29 for 197 passing yards and 2 touchdowns.
Tyler Lass caught 5 receptions for 108 yards and scored both touchdowns.
Treyton Mitchell recorded 2 receptions for 59 yards, and Weston Sundell had 4 receptions for 27 yards.
Cayden Dudley had 19 carries for 92 rushing yards
Lass and Dudley each had a 2-point conversion.
Defensive stats were not available yet.
Ogden travels (1-6 overall, 1-3 district) to Nodaway Valley (0-7 overall, 0-4 district) for the final district game on Friday, Oct. 18.
