The Boone football team could not get their offense going and fell to Ballard, 42-0, on Friday, October 25, in Boone. 

Ballard was able to score a touchdown in all four quarters.  

The Bombers were ahead, 14-0, at the half.  

They also scored three times in the 4^th quarter to end the game, 42-0. 

Jude Baumgardner led the Toreador offense and went 9 of 25 for 189 passing yards.  

He also had 5 carries for 6 rushing yards. 

Lucas Boucher had 27 carries for 114 rushing yards. 

Tyson Shivers had 4 receptions for 69 yards, while Dylan Bolton ended with 3 receptions for 81 yards. 

For the defense, Shivers recorded 6.5 tackles, including 6 solo tackles and 3 tackles for loss. 

Additionally, Justus Frese had 5 tackles, including 3 solo tackles and 1 for tackle for loss. 

Boone ends the 2024 season with a 4-5 overall record and a 1-4 record in Class 4A, District 5 play.
