The Madrid Tigers used a stingy defense and made the plays when necessary to upset #3 Lisbon Friday night in the Class A Quarterfinals. Preston Wicker scored 3 rushing TD’s and connected with Jevyn Severson on another as the Tigers returned to the UNI Dome for a 2nd consecutive season. Madrid (9-2) will take on #2 West Hancock (11-0) Thursday November 14th at 10am. These two teams matched up last season in the semifinals with West Hancock coming out on top 39-14.
