BOONE, Iowa—A single vehicle accident about a quarter to one Sunday afternoon did send three juveniles to the hospital to be checked out for possible injuries. The Boone County Sheriff’s Department responded to the call in the one thousand area of 216th Drive, old Highway 30, west of L Avenue. According to the report, a 17 year old juvenile driver apparently missed the curve and over corrected ending up rolling into the ditch. The driver and two juvenile passengers, a 15 year old and a 12 year old were all taken by ambulance to be checked for injuries. No one was ejected from the vehicle. The driver was cited for failure to maintain control.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Boone County Hospital Ambulance Service, the Ogden Fire Department and Ogden First Responders.
