The Boone boys’ wrestling team traveled to Carroll to take on Carroll and Webster City on Thursday, December 5.
Boone lost to Carroll, 49-21, and lost to Webster City, 60-23.
Ajay Braddock recorded 2 wins for the Toreadors. He won by fall over Treyvin Childress of Carroll at 132 pounds and won by fall over Carson Betran of Webster City at 126 pounds.
Trent Eckard won twice at 157 pounds. He won by major decision over Trevin Weber of Carroll and won by technical fall over Blake Berninghaus of Webster City.
Joseph Pestotnik won twice at 175 pounds. He won by fall over Kieran Poling of Carroll and Carson Betran of Webster City.
Mason Oostenink won once at 126 pounds. He won by fall over Jake Kinkade of Carroll.
Joseph Garza won once at 165 pounds. He won by fall over Briggs Peppel of Webster City.
Others competing for Boone included Austin Degeneffe at 190 pounds, George Grote at 120 pounds, Anthony Heenan at 138 pounds and Brenden Hedrick at 150 pounds.
