The Boone girls’ basketball team could not overcome Carroll’s hot shooting as it lost, 53-22, on Tuesday, December 17 at Boone in conference play.
The Tigers made 8 3-pointers in the first half to take a 29-11 lead at the half.
Carroll continued to score well and were up, 41-14, at the end of the 3rd quarter and took the game, 53-22.
Sydney Adams led Boone with 10 points and 1 3-pointer.
Macy Chesnut had 4 points in the second half.
Boone dropped to 3-4 overall and 0-3 in the conference.
Carroll improved to 3-2 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
Boone will host Perry (3-5) at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, at Boone.
