The Boone boys swimming team won 6 events as it beat Carroll, 52-42, and Atlantic, 73-21, Thursday, December 19, at Carroll.
“We had a chance to shuffle guys in and out of events and relays tonight,” said coach Chris Mann.
“We got some great performances from everyone in events that they don’t typically get a chance to swim.”
Isaac Clark continued his winning ways as he won the 200 free in 1:51.63 and the 500 free in 5:15.96.
Warren Williams placed 1st in the 200 IM in 2:17.67, and Calvin Cook was champion in the 100 back in 1:06.71.
The 200 medley relay of Clark, Simon Enabnit, Williams and Carson Muggenberg opened the meet with a victory in 1:44.02.
Also, the 200 free relay of Cooper Jensen, Muggenberg, Carden Nerem and Cook finished 1st in 1:36.67.
Second-place finishers for the Toreadors included Williams in the 100 fly in 59.22, Enabnit in the 100 free in 53.33 and Muggenberg in the 100 breast in 1:11.80.
Additionally, the 400 free relay of Williams, Nerem, Jensen and Muggenberg were 2nd in 3:31.09.

Heading into winter break, Boone is 16-1 overall and 4-0 in dual meets.
The Toreadors’ next meet is Saturday, January 4, at Des Moines East.
