The Boone girls’ basketball team started strong and beat Perry, 58-29, Thursday, December 19, in Boone.
The Toreadors took a 22-5 lead after the 1st quarter and were up 34-6 at the half.
Boone continued to score well and was up, 46-20, at the end of the 3rd quarter and won the game, 58-29.
Macy Chesnut led the Toreadors with 23 points and 16 points in the 1st half.
Ava Johnson added 11 points, while Sydney Adams and Shannon Jenkins scored 6 each.
Boone evens it record to 4-4 with the victory while Perry falls to 4-5.
The Toreadors head to Bondurant, dear Bondurant-Farrar, at 6 p.m. tonight.
