BOONE, Iowa—Debra S. Tilley, 58, of Boone passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024.
Cremation has taken place and Debra’s family is planning a celebration of her life to be held at a later date.
Deb was born June 8, 1966, in Guthrie Center, Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd and MaryAnn (Miller) Baird. She attended school in Perry and graduated from Perry High School.
Deb was united in marriage to Robby Tilley on July 1, 1985, in Boone. She started her career as a CNA in 1985, and was still currently working. Deb had worked at several facilities in the Boone and surrounding areas, she loved her job and taking care of others. She enjoyed playing cards, camping, being in the outdoors and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and MaryAnn Baird; and her daughter, Samantha Tilley.
Deb is survived by her husband of 40 years, Robby Tilley of Boone; two sons, Dana Tilley (Nakita Colebank) of Boone, and Richard Tilley (Amanda Risius) of Boone; step-son, Nathan Tilley of Grant, Michigan; four grandchildren, Hannah Tilley, Richard Tilley, Hunter Tilley, and Madaline Tilley; two brothers, Michael Baird and Julius Baird both of Chillicothe, MO; brother-in-law, Rodney (Cheryl) Tilley of Eagle Grove; and other extended family and friends.
