KWBG 12/27/24

DES MOINES, Iowa—No change in the Drought Monitor Map released on Christmas Eve for the previous week. Just over 61% of the state is either in Moderate Drought Condition or Severe Drought. Severe Drought is just over 1% and is located in the northwest corner of the state. Locally, Boone County remained 100% Abnormally Dry.

Rain Friday could translate to some improvement in the conditions next week.
