Ogden boys beat Woodward Academy

The Ogden boys’ basketball team beat Woodward Academy, 68-57, Friday, January 17, in Woodward. 

The Bulldogs led 13-11 after the 1st quarter but were behind by 1, 41-40, at the half, and were able to come out with the victory, 68-57. 

Brayden Miller led Ogden with 24 points on 9 field goals, 2 3-pointers and 4 free throws. 

Jase Coleman followed with 17 points on 8 field goals and 1 3-pointers. 

Jordan Benjamin ended with 11 points on 4 field goals and 3 3-pointers. 

Brady Van Sickle had 3 assists. 

For the defense, Coleman had 5 rebounds, 1 block and 2 steals. 

Benjamin, Van Sickle and Miller grabbed 4 rebounds each. 

Ogden improved to 5-7 overall while Woodward Academy fell to 1-7. 

The Ogden girls’ and boys’ doubleheader scheduled for tonight at Glidden-Ralston has been postponed to Thursday, February 6. 

Both teams will play Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center in a doubleheader beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 21.
