Ryder Eklund was champion at the Ogden Individual Tournament Saturday, January 25, in Ogden.
The Bulldogs placed 2nd with 153 points.
Des Moines East won the tournament with 218.5 points.
Eklund pinned all his opponents en route to his victory at 126 pounds.
He pinned Seah Castine of West Des Moines Valley in :47, Tre’Veon Clark of Valley in 1:21, Wylie Walters of Montezuma in 1:23, and Jian Estrada of Des Moines North-Hoover in :22.
In the championship match, Eklund pinned Emperor Lewis of Des Moines East in 1:10.
Four Ogden wrestlers placed 2nd: Riley Saunders at 106 pounds, Lucas Pelleymounter at 144 pounds, Dillon Moe at 150 pounds and Tristan Mosley at 165 pounds.
Saunders pinned Kellen Hilgenberg of Coon Rapids-Bayard in 1:00 before pinning Regan Eide of Beaman-Conrad-Liscomb-Union-Whitten in 2:52.
He was pinned in the championship match by Michael Lewis of Des Moines East in :33.
Pelleymounter pinned Benji Ayala of Coon Rapids-Bayard in 1:54 before pinning Ethan Doonan of West Des Moines Valley in 3:22.
He then lost by decision to Rett Pargeon of Montezuma, 4-3, before beating Titus Morely of Maple Valley-Anthon-Ono-Charter Oak-Ute by decision, 4-2.
In the 1st place match, Pelleymounter was pinned by Phengmong Lee of Des Moines East in 5:04.
Moe won by decision over Beau Towne of Beaman-Conrad-Liscomb-Union-Whitten-South Hardin, 9-3, before receiving a bye.
He then pinned Erik Bailey of MVAOCOU in :21 before getting pinned by Jason Rivas of Des Moines East in 3:39.
Moe pinned Cade Cook of Coon Rapids-Bayard in 3:44 to take 2nd place.
Mosely pinned Yudiel Gonzalez of Montezuma in 1:17 before winning by decision over Alex Shipley of Valley, 10-6.
He also won by decision over Ryan Busch of BCLUW-SH, 5-1, before winning by decision over Daveon Davis of Des Moines East, 7-6.
In the 1st place match, Mosley was pinned by Treynor Cose of Coon Rapids-Bayard in :53.
Individuals placing 3rd for Ogden include Brody Hitsman at 120 pounds, Isaac Dominick at 138 pounds, Sylus Rude at 175 pounds, and Jakob Crossman at 190 pounds.
Cooper Long at 113 pounds and Landon Alexander at 157 pounds placed 4th for the Bulldogs.
At 165 pounds, Brody Burdette placed 7th and at 215 pounds, Cash Williams also placed 7th.
Walker Hull placed 8th at 285 pounds.

Ogden will head to Iowa Falls to compete against Nevada, Roland-Story and Iowa Falls-Alden at 6 p.m. Thursday, January 30.
