BOONE, Iowa—Kristine “Tina” Fisher, 77, of Boone, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025, at her home.

Kristine was born February 27, 1947, in Hibbing, MN, the daughter of James P. and Lorraine (Hedman) Belluci. She grew up in Boone and graduated from Boone High School, and worked at her parents’ pizza place, Belluci’s Pizza. After high school, Kristine attended Drake University and graduated with a Master’s Degree in English.

Kristine was united in marriage to Dalton Fisher on November 29, 1986, at Drake University. She worked as a writer for the Boone News Republican for several years and then at Dalton’s car dealership.

She enjoyed spending time at the family cabin on Caribou Lake, MN, near Duluth. Kristine was intrigued with wolves and loved all animals, especially dogs and a few stary cats. She was a big supporter of the Humane Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dalton in 2018; brother, James A. Belluci in 1971; nephew, Chad Brensel in 2018; and her sister, Lynn Belluci-Adams in 2023.

Kristine is survived by three step-children and several cousins.
