Cadence Heggen was runner-up in her weight class at the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union state championships Friday, February 7.
Briar Ludeman of Cedar Falls won by decision over Heggen, 7-3, at 190 pounds.
Heggen finishes the season 36-8.
