BOONE, Iowa—Lorrie Jean Lee of Boone, IA, and formerly of Merced, CA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Westhaven Community in Boone.

Lorrie Lee was born, Lorrie Bullard, on July 17, 1942, to Doris and Walter Bullard in San Pedro, CA. She grew up in Chowchilla, CA, and graduated from Chowchilla High School in 1961. Lorrie then went to work as an Underwriting Analyst for Farmers Insurance in Merced, where she worked for many years.

Lorrie was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Jim Lee, in 1969, and they were married for 40 years, before his passing. They had one daughter, Jamie (Lee) Williams.
