DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has provided updated information about the Wind Advisory and Red Flag Warning issued for a sizable part of the state today. Critical fire weather conditions and strong winds are expected today with fire danger highest across the southern 3/4 of Iowa. Winds are strongest across the northern 3/4 of Iowa. The biggest impact is expected this afternoon.
