The Boone boys’ tennis team won the Boone Invite Saturday, April 5.
The Toreadors scored 182 points, and runner-up Dallas Center-Grimes scored 160 points.
In Flight 2 singles, Braxtan Sproule went 4-0.
Sproule won his matches 8-3, 10-1, 7-4 and 9-2
In Flight 3 singles, Brandon Holm went 4-0.
Holm beat all of his opponents by the score of 6-5.
In Flight 1 doubles, Tyler Lindahl and Devin Silbaugh went 4-0.
Lindahl and Sillbaugh beat their first 2 opponents, 8-3, and topped the second 2 opponents, 9-2.
In Flight 2 doubles, Wes Van Pelt and Calvin Jordan went 4-0.
They beat their opponents by the scores of 8-3, 10-1, 7-4, 9-2.
In Flight 3 doubles, Kyan Lehman and Patrick Houser went 4-0.
Lehman and Houser topped their opponents 9-2, 8-3, 9-2, 10-1.
In Flight 1 singles, Owen Schneider went 2-2.
Schenider lost his first 2 matches, 2-9 and 2-9, and won his final 2 matches, 6-5 and 11-0.
Team Scores were Boone 192, Dallas Center-Grimes 160, North Polk 148, Denison-Schleswig 82, Council Bluffs St. Albert 78.
