The Madrid girls’ golf team competed in its first meet Monday, April 7, at Woodward Golf Club.
Ashlynn Burkhart was the top individual for the Tigers, and she finished 3rd with a 56.
Megan Carlson shot a 64, good for 11th place, and Emma Hudnall shot a 65, good for 12th place.
Madrid did not have enough participants for a team score.
Rylee Robson of Adair Casey-Guthrie Center was medalist with a 52 and Emily Roe of Pleasantville had a 54.
ACGC won the meet with 232, while Pleasantville was 2nd with 247 and West Central Valley had 255.
The Tigers next compete in a quadrangular against Earlham, Ogden and West Central Valley on Thursday, April 24, at Stuart.
