DES MOINES, Iowa—The National Weather Service Office in Des Moines has released updates for the potential for severe weather. There is an Enhanced Risk (3 out of 5) for severe weather with hail being the primary threat covering much of Iowa, especially southwestern Iowa. Some scattered morning storms could have an isolated hail threat, but the main severe threat is mainly after 4pm.
