Elmquist was offered the position and has accepted the offer and the Council will consider her contract at the next Council meeting Monday. She also talked about the number of capital projects included in the recently approved budget for the city. Millions of dollars in infrastructure work for the water works northwest of Boone and the water environment plant in McHose Park. She also explained that timing will be important to have debt for the projects, coming due as the Daisy Project comes on line and begins paying water and sewer bills. Aired Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
