The Madrid boys’ track team placed 2nd at the Dave Tapps Invitational Thursday, May 1, in Van Meter.
Earlham won the meet with 124 points, and Madrid was runner-up with 100 points.
Brody Buck won the high jump with his jump of 6-00.00
Tyler Sonnenfelt was 2nd in the 200-meter dash in 23.04.
The shuttle hurdle relay of Kinnich Grimm, Buck, Will Atkinson and Easton Halverson also paced 2nd in 1:04.49.

The Tigers will travel Tuesday, May 6, to Urbandale for the West Central Activities Conference Track Meet.
