The Boone boys’ golf team wrapped up its season at the Class 3A sectional tournament held at Emerald Hills Golf Club Tuesday, May 15, in Okoboji.
The Toreadors placed 6th overall with a team score of 348.
Humboldt won the tournament with a team score of 317 and advanced to districts.
Leading the way for Boone was sophomore Mason Oostenink, who shot an 83, earning him 11th place individually.
Oostenink narrowly missed qualifying for the district tournament.
Other contributors to Boone’s team score included Max Roelfs (85), Jaxon Miover (90), and Brody McNace (90).
Edward Heller (93) and Calvin Overton (101) rounded out the lineup.
