BOONE, Iowa—Ed Cline passed away Tuesday, May 27th with his wife, Jane, of 27 years by his side at home. He was 73 years old. He leaves behind several siblings, 2 children and 4 grandchildren.
Ed loved people. He never knew a stranger for very long. After that strong handshake that he was so proud of and always asking “what’s your name”, they were friends. He never forgot a name and would address you by it.
He worked for the utility company for over 40 years, finishing with, managing construction of wind farms. He loved the challenge and excitement of seeing a project come together.
After retiring, his passion was the farm and cattle. He had a vision of the golden years sharing the sunset with Jane sitting on the farmhouse porch. A good man gone too soon
