BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Emergency Management has delayed the monthly test of the counties warning sirens. Chris Hayes, Emergency Management announced the delay on the Emergency Management Facebook page:
Due to the Labor Day holiday, Boone County Emergency Management will move September’s monthly siren test from Monday, September 1st to Monday, September 8th at 1:00 PM.
This adjustment is only for September. Regular testing will return to the first Monday of the month beginning in October.
