The Class 2A, No. 20, Ogden boys’ cross country team won the Greene County Invitational at Spring Lake Park near Jefferson on Thursday, September 11.
The boys placed first with a team score of 89 points, while the girls had an individual finish in 4th place.
The meet was highlighted by a breakout performance from Myles Tromblay, who finished 2nd in 17:03, earning a medal and setting a personal record.
Thomas Bergstrom also medaled, placing 4th in 17:56.
Landon Abbott finished 8th in 18:16 as Bek Anderson ended 16th in 19:13, a personal record.
Henry Russo (39th, 21:08) Palmer Hickingbottom (54th, 22:27) Elias Engelmann (64th, 23:42, PR) rounded out the scoring for the Bulldogs.
The Ogden girls were led by Elyse Fisher, who placed 4th in 22:21, earning a medal.
Sophie Seligman also medaled with a 12th-place finish in 24:20.
Other contributors included Alauna Wells (36th, 30:15) and Brylie Hicks (41st, 36:50).
The girls did not have enough runners for a team score, and Roland-Story won the meet.
