The Ogden Bulldogs delivered a gutsy performance on Thursday, September 25, rallying to defeat Panorama in a dramatic five-set match in West Central Activities Conference play.
The Bulldogs dropped the first set but stormed back to win the next two, then held strong in the decisive fifth set to secure a 3-2 victory at home.
Ella Anderson orchestrated the offense with 21 assists, setting up a balanced attack.
Macy Bristle led the team with 9 kills, followed by Paysen Graden with 7 kills, and Sidney Crane and Olivia Coleman with 6 kills each.
At the net, Sydney Craighton was a force with 9 blocks, while Crane added 5 blocks.
On defense, Aubrey Leonard anchored the back row with 18 digs, and Anderson and Coleman each contributed 12 digs.
From the service line, Coleman and Bristle each delivered 5 ace serves.
With the win, Ogden improves to 10-5 overall and 2-1 in conference play, while Panorama falls to 3-8 overall and 1-3 in the conference.
Ogden will look to carry its momentum into next week when they host Pleasantville (8-8 overall, 1-2 conference) on Tuesday, September 30, at 6:30 p.m. in another conference matchup.
