Ogden rolls past Panorama

The Ogden Bulldogs gave fans plenty to cheer about on Friday, October 10, defeating Panorama, 42-13, on Senior Night and Youth Cheer Night in a district matchup at Ogden High School.

The Ogden Bulldogs gave fans plenty to cheer about on Friday, October 10, defeating Panorama, 42-13, on Senior Night and Youth Cheer Night in a district matchup at Ogden High School.  

Ogden opened the scoring with a touchdown in the first quarter and exploded in the third, putting up 27 points to take full control of the game.  

They added another touchdown and two-point conversion in the fourth quarter to seal the win.  

Panorama managed 7 points in the second quarter and 6 in the fourth but couldn’t keep pace. 

Leading the charge was Cayden Dudley, who 23 carries for 144 yards and 4 rushing touchdowns, plus 77 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown. 

Quarterback Carson Lloyd was efficient through the air, going 12-for-22 for 210 yards and 2 touchdowns, while also adding 15 yards on the ground. 

Treyton Mitchell had 2 receptions for 66 yards, Weston Sundell had 3 receptions for 41 yards and Keagan Ristvedt had 5 receptions for 26 yards. 

The Bulldogs’ defense was led by Landon Alexander with 8.5 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 1 sack.  

Tyler Lass added 6.5 tackles, while Carson Muggenberg contributed 3.5 tackles and 1.5 sacks.  

Ogden’s defense forced multiple turnovers, including four fumble recoveries by Ryder Eklund, Dillon Moe, Dillon Keller, and Alexander, and interceptions by Lass and Eklund. 

With the win, Ogden improves to 4-3 overall and 2-2 in district play, while Panorama drops to 1-6 overall and 0-4 in the district. 

Ogden hits the road Friday, October 17, to face No. 10 Interstate 35 in Truro.  

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m., with Interstate 35 entering the game at 4-3 overall and 3-1 in district play.
